Hi, I designed a M12 lens mount or adapter for the hobbyking HD Wing camera. It can be printed with almost every 3D printer. I tested it with several M12 lenses (pinhole, normal angle, wide angle) and it worked fine. All details and 3D models can be downloaded from my blog.

My latest FPV race multirotor project.
This 160 class fpv racer is build on a complete selfdesigned frame with clean and dirty section. 3 inch props / 1306-4200kv motors
All details about this project, a step by step building guide and al 3D sketches are available on my blog

A few days ago some new 4 inch quad blade prop arrived for my 190 class multirotor project. I tested these props on my automated thrust test bench and compared the results with 3 blade props.
hqprop 4x4x4 and lumenier 4x4x4

thrust test results on 1808-2400kv motor
http://dozer260.blogspot.be/2016/03/...rust-test.html
On this motor both quad blad props provide more thrust than a tri blade bullnose prop. And the 4blades are more effecient than the 3blade bullnose.

On this motor only the hqprop 4x4x4 performs beter and is more efficient than the tri blade bullnose prop.

The hqprop 4x4x4 is a good performer and noise is a lot less compared to bullnose props. But these quad blades brake very easy on impact.

I have made an computer controlled / automated RC brushless motor testbench.
It measures thrust, current, voltage and rpm. This data is send to a pc/laptop where it can be saved or processed. The pc software is currently very basic. Just click on start benchmark button en 30 sec later I got full data table from 0 to 100 % power. The software is written in java and is compatible with Linux/windows and other OS that support java. The thrust stand is made with an arduino board, hx711 sensor, acs712 current sensor and IR led/phototransistor.
details about this build are available on my blog: http://dozer260.blogspot.be/

today was the day I tested my (almost) finished mini octocopter wich is build on a 3D printed frame.
Motor to motor is 360mm. Max 5 inch prop can be mounted on 18xx or 22xx motors.

All details as wel as a maiden flight video can be found on my blog:

The installation of my OLH-360 mini octocopter continues.

DYS 1806 2300kv motors are installed and soldered to HK Blueseries 12a ESC.

The installation of the electronic parts continues.

I have made a PCB on which I inserted the OSD an VTX. This to avoid a bunch of cables that is needed to interconnect these modules with each other and other the components (cam, power, apm).

All details are availble on my blog: http://fpv250.blogspot.be/

Benchmarking the HobbyKing Turnigy Multistar 1704 1900kv brushless outrunner.
KV(RPM/V): 1900
Lipo cells: 2-3s
Max Watts(W): 49
Max. current(10s): 4.5 amps
Weight: 13.5g

I'm using a HobbyKing Blueseries 12A ESC to drive the motor and a Hobbyking Turnigy Power Analyser to read and record voltage/amps/watt. The ESC will be controlled by an Arduino MEGA 1280 board that is connected to a PC via USB.

Hi,

I 3D printed a octo copter multirotor frame. I took the well known FPV 250 quad copter frame as a reference to design my octo copter frame. All the details are available on my blog: http://fpv250.blogspot.be/
