I decided to look for some more full scale car pictures on my computer, and these are all I could find.

Yeah....I tend to lean towards the European cars......Continue Reading

Well after three days of building, building, and building some more, I got my first kit built up! The Axial SCX10 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I can't wait to go and hit some trails with this rig.

If anyone knows of any RC sites that are looking for reviewers, editors, etc., then please let me know! I'm looking to make some more money to fund the hobby, and would love to involve RC in this quest. I have experience with cars, planes, and helicopters when it comes to this hobby.

My ECX Circuit got here about two days ago! Its a new addition to my fleet. I've driven it a couple of times and its pretty slow, but I have a lipo on the way and then may go brushless with it....or I'll save the brushless for later when I purchase what got me into RC...the Traxxas Bandit. Been missing that car after selling it to get started in planes....I need my baby Bandit back. I'll have it back...its what got me into this mess, and its going to stay with me.

Until then, heres the circuit! (Didn't take too many pictures yet ).

I basically have been thinking about a RC Car for awhile now (have had a couple in the past, but sold them due to planes), and just made an impulse buy for an ECX Circuit. Part of the impulse may have been because I'm a big time 1:1 scale car enthusiast. The total came out to be $183!!! Its only $13 more than a UMX plane, but now I'm left with only $26. Here are the items I impulsively purchased:

I can't go flying at my club field until the Gubment opens up. Reason being is because my club field is located on Valley Forge National Historic Park, and due to the Gubment being closed, the park is also closed, which in turn has my club field (VFSS - Valley Forge Signal Seekers) closed. Looks like no Flyzone Cessna Corvalis maiden this weekend! Which sucks too because the one weekend where the field is closed, the weather is PERFECT for flying. Go figure.

*sigh* If only they were 1/10 scale. They still look pretty cool though!

Here is my RC fleet as of August 2013. It is VERY different than last year when I made one of these! I hope to add more to it in the future.

These videos were shot back in June. They are just short snippets of longer videos. The quality isn't great because it was taken from an iphone, and that is also the reason they can't be longer. I really need to make myself a hat cam.

This is from awhile ago...sometime in June. Just thought I would post up a video of me flying my hobbyzone champ in the backyard.

Hobbyzone Champ Morning Backyard Flight (3 min 13 sec)

So today was a calm, windless day. PERFECT for flying. So I packed up the UMX MiG 15, Mini Crack Yak, and Nano CPX. Charged up the batteries, grabbed my DX7s, and I'm on my way. Got good flights on the Nano CPX and Mini Crack Yak. But then came the MiG. I only got half of a battery through it before tragedy struck. I was banking into a left turn, when all of a sudden my motor shut off, all my control surface power was lost, and the MiG spiraled into the fence! Luckily I had the ParkFlyerPlastics nose ring, or damage may have been worse! I am DEFINITELY going to be calling Horizon Hobby tomorrow to see what they can do. Worth a shot since this was an unexpected loss of power.

Horizon Hobby got THIS right!!!!

So I was flying my nano CPX in the backyard, and during liftoff, I was about 5 inches off the ground, and out of nowhere a bee flies right into the blades of the heli! The bee falls to the ground, I land to check up on the little guy...HIS FACE IS CHOPPED OFF!!! Warning to all bugs: Do not go near the blades of these micro helis! I've had a close encounter with a butterfly with my Ember 2 prop, and I also chopped a wasp in half midair with my Ember 2 LOL.

Just a bunch of random car pictures I found in my pictures folder. Used to have a CRAP LOAD more, but a computer restore had to be done.
