Inspired by ALEX HEWSON Curved Offset T Blades. Printed in PetG and weighing 1.9g.

These are designed for light weight foamy DLGs.

EX... Alula with AUW of 181g (my Alula Trek)

Assuming a mass of 181g or .181kg for equation
a velocity of 22 meters/s
a radius (centre of person to centre line of glider) of 1.35m

(.181kg x 484 /1.35m)
= 65N or 6.6 Kg-force or 14.5 pound-force.

If my math is correct, they can handle ~ a 6.5 OZ bird.

Ive installed one on my Alula Trek for testing. So far I like it.

Ive owned a Makerbot Rep 2 for some time now and I have to say its a wonderful machine. Its hard to explain the joy and feeling you get when you create a 3D printed object, whether it be from a file you downloaded or better yet, one you created yourself.

Ive used it for my business, making my kids toys and jewelry, and now RC. I started with mini quad copters and now Ive made a mini Alula inspired free flight model.

Here is the link to the Thingiverse version: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:831683

And yes the Alula inspired glider glides.
