I have started to build this huge foamy after I found I could actually print the plans from a free CAD program I found!!

Francesco's (Nibbio) orignial build is here: 60" C17 III Globemaster

I have to put this build on hold for a cupple of months. I will return so stay tuned.

GAS to ELECTRIC conversion of my 46 size Cessna Semi-Scale Trainer

G’day everyone,
Here is the conversion of my GAS Semi-Scale Cessna to ELECTRIC.

The setup is from Mark at Extreme RC http://www.extremerc.com.au/
SPORTING A :
Prop : APC1260E
Motor : EMX BL2826 outrunner HERE
Battery : Extreme Power 4100 4s1p 15c/25c HERE
ESC : Hyperion TITAN 80 OPTO HERE
EXTRAS : DN Ultimate UBEC, Hitec RX, 3 x Hitec servos.

After adding 250grams of lead to the nose to get the C of G correct the AUW is 2900grams
