I wanted to do this mini how-to as there were a few guides around but nothing I saw explained it well enough or had the whole thing start to finish. The ones that had 90% of the programming, did not explain how far the surface should move or the theory of how they worked with an explanation of sorts.

The following is not necessarily the ONLY WAY, just that it WORKED FOR ME. If it helps you, great, if you hate it then its not my fault and like always it is up to you to check your surface controls before, during and after programming to check they are working correctly. I am not responsible for incorrect programming of the TX or DUMB THUMBS. I am just sharing to try and help someone out.

So here we go-

DX8 RADIAN PRO PROGRAMMING USING AR8000

SYSTEM SETUP:
MODEL – ACRO
WING – 2 AIL / 2 FLAPS
TAIL – NORMAL
SWITCH SELECT – KNOB: AUX 3

MODEL SETUP:
SERVO SETTINGS: THROTTLE NORMAL, RIGHT AIL – REVERSE, ELEVATOR – REVERSE, RUDDER – REVERSE, LFLAP – NORMAL, LEFT AIL – REVERSE,
R FLAP – NORMAL, AUX 3 – REVERSE

THROTTLE CUT: POS 0% SW: Mix 1 (Throttle Hold on Mode 1 TX)
FLAP SYSTEM: 25% NORM – ELE TO SUIT
8% MID – THIS IS MY FLAPS AT NEUTRAL ON MY GLIDER
-50% LANDING
SPEED: 2.0s(Secs) SW: FLAP
