AKK BS2 is just another AIO micro camera, comes in Super light weight, only 3.5g. The camera is small and compact but also full of functions. It can be installed in minutes and ready to fly, the signal range is ideal for park flyers or racing quads. This camera is well received for its affordable price and awesome performance.

AKK A1 - super light (4.5g) AIO camera for FPV which has interesting function that enables user to easy switch CHs & turn on/off VTX power via button. 600TVL video signal could provide good quality video. Because of its combo format and that it requires only power source (3.2-5V), you can use one AKKA1 combo from micro quads to boats, planes, cars.

Drone racing: First Person View (FPV)
Drone racing: First Person View (FPV) (1 min 40 sec)

At an abandoned warehouse in Melbourne's west, about 30 drone racers have spent hours custom building their multi-rotor machines and fitting them with onboard cameras. Known as FPV racing - or first person view - the racers use special goggles, some held together with gaffer tape, giving them a drone's-eye view. I recently crashed my racing drone and the motors stopped spinning. When I plug in my Lipo the motors twich however, my Spf3 does not complete the full starting tune. It simply beeps 3 short times. I have gone onto Betaflight and tried turning the motor on but there is no response. Please help. The drone was working before the crash.

My reliable foamie with 60+ flights in her was stored in a hot garage before flying in 90 degree temps. Didn't dream that the heat and choppy winds would loosen the cellophane tape. After flying loops and rolls for 7 mins., I'm lining the Champ S+ for landing into the wind when the tape lets go.

It was spectacular.

Somehow the bottom half of the nose sheared off and the prop cut thru the right fuse side before I could cut the throttle. Wires held it together in a slowish death spiral. Landed in grass.

But hey, a bit of Gorilla glue and it's ready to go with some new character lines and a wiser pilot.

Review (ip) of MJX B6 Bugs 6 - entery-level FPV RTF racing drone from MJX R/C Technic

Finally, my Bugs6 entery-level RTF racing drone came.
This quad looks amazing to me. I really like the design with sharp lines and black-red-green color palette.

This is my first quad from MJX R/C Technic company and I already see that they put lot of effort and designing time into this product. I am so excited about this product as this is my first "real" RTF kit and I am very interested in how will it perform against my self made drones.
I say "real" RTF kit because, really, all you need to fly FPV with this kit are 4 x AA batteries for transmitter. Everything else is neatly packed and protected inside beautifully designed box (my order was top model with camera, FPV monitor with built in video receiver and battery and goggles for monitor).

NOTE: You have several options when ordering regarding level of equipment which comes in Bugs6 RTF kit and price is very tempting also:
  1. only drone&transmitter
  2. drone&transmitter+FPV camera
  3. drone&transmitter+FPV camera+FPV monitor
  4. and (my order) top packet: drone&transmitter+FPV camera+FPV monitor + goggles for FPV monitor

In the box (my order is top packet):
1 x MJX Bugs 6 Quadcopter
1 x Transmitter
1 x 7.4V 25C 1300mAh LiPo Battery
4 x Spare Blade
1 x Blance charger
1 x USB charging cable
1 x Propeller fixing mount
1 x Manual
1 x FPV monitor with built in video receiver and battery + USB charging cable
1 x...Continue Reading

I'd been asked by a couple of people to desctibe this design in its design role as a trainer, here goes. I'd say it's really pretty good, but these days I don't know any in production as a kit or ARF. Not too many people would be mad enough now to build their own trainer from scratch as I did, but I love it. Now I'm flying solo, it's stable and easy to fly, so long as you set that CG forwards. The plan shows the forward point at the back edge of the wing spar, my last instructor adjusted it to the front edge, and that's pretty good, positive stability and it tends to return to stable flight.

What I like about it though, is it's not a *basic* trainer, in fact this is almost the same design as the RCM Advanced Trainer, and the plain RCM Trainer (very minor differences with the latter, can't find any with the advanced). It's faster, for one thing, but I hasten to add it's still very easy to fly, you just need to keep up a little airspeed, so those turns come up a little sooner but it's no problem and still well behaved. As soon as the airspeed drops below a certain point it really starts sinking. That takes away one problem I find with today's light ARF trainers, they float and sometimes don't want to settle. You can always point the nose down and dive, but you'll build up too much speed, lessons teach you to sink for the ground, not dive for it, when it's time to approach for landing. Turns are good and steady, but I just found out you do want to learn to use coordinated...Continue Reading
