First step for me is to join the wing halves.
Remove 5-10mm of foam both sides from each wing half. Making sure you remove all the foam attached to the skin also. Gently scrape the foam away from the skin along the edges.
Fill this area with thickened epoxy. Fumed silica and or cabosil. Let cure.
After cured, sand equally both sides to desired dihredral. I’m sanding to 6.5 degrees.
Tape the bottoms together so the wing lays flat on the bench. Add thickended epoxy again to the center joint. Then either prop wing up between two chairs, one flat other raised to desired dihedral, or on my case I prop both sides and weigh down the center. After in place, remove excess epoxy mixture from the joint. Let cure.
I like to drill the wings holes now. Locate where u want the holes. I like 25 and 100mm from the leading edge. I drill small holes making sure they are centered. Then enlarge then to accept the 3mm screws.
With carbon cut out for the center patch, top and bottom. Add center patch closing up the center section. Let cure. Redrill holes and countersink.
Locate the wing mounting nuts for the fuse. Mark and drill two holes to accept the mounting nuts. I make the holes just large enough to pull the nuts through and stay in place on their own. CA in place. Check alignment by measuring from the wing tip hinge line to the tail end of the boom.
Mount the vertical. Using the template, scribe the outline of the vertical. Gently cut this out with an xacto or I like to...Continue Reading

Just over 40"
7.25" saddle will accept AG series and Zone V2 series wings, or you can set the saddle to accept a different wing. I've also been able to fit newer synergy ii series wings. Easily adjustable if needed.
