Losi 5ive-T 2.0 Slow Motion Bashing (1 min 56 sec)

Launching The Losi DBXLE Off Monster Truck Jumps At Digger's Dungeon (3 min 30 sec)

I took my Losi DBXLE with me to Digger's Dungeon for the No Limit R/C World Finals, but not to race it...to bash it in my "free" time. I didn't turn out to have as much free time as I would've liked, but I had enough to enjoy a few good bashes. This footage came from two of those times. At Digger's Dungeon they have a ride-on monster truck called Riptide that has a little course with some big hills they take people over. It's $5/person and an enjoyable ride (which I hear they are expanding). When it was done at night, my buddy Dave heard me talking about wanting to "open up" my DBXLE and let it fly. I told him about my inability to really run it in a big space. He took me over the the Riptide course and he brought his 5th scale gas truck. I aired it out a few good times before the batteries ran out (forgot to charge them). Hope you enjoy it and some of the other small bashing I did with it. Have fun RCing y'all!

DHK Zombie Leaves The Grave For A 4S Backyard Bash (2 min 13 sec)

We can't keep the DHK Zombie in the grave. It just wants to get out and bash - and you want to see it in 4s. I cut together some footage from a recent bash...complete with some hardcore slow motion crashes. As I state in the video...this is one of my favorite bashers. My brother liked it so much after he and his kids drove it that he ordered one for himself. Be sure to watch all the other DHK videos I have. This and the DHK Maximus are amazing bashers. Have fun RCing!

Feilun FT011 Brushless Race Boat Unboxing (7 min 13 sec)

I'm excited about this unboxing because it's another brushless RC boat! You know how I was shocked by how much fun I had with the Atomic Barbwire 2. This one is brushless as well, but bigger. It's the FeiLun FT011 brushless and watercooled RC Speedboat. It comes in at a great price. Can't wait to run it and get a speed test for y'all.

No Limit R/C Monster Truck Racing - Newport News, VA Hobbytown Feb. 10, 2018 (4 min 9 sec)

This video has taken a week to complete because I had a memory card failure and lost all the footage. I spent 2 days and more money then I wanted to trying to recover it. No Limit R/C of VA puts on a good event and the racing was fun to watch and be a part of. Thanks to my buddy Al who was visiting and willing to come to the race...and also help film.

The corrupted files that were restored aren’t perfect and were hard to work with, so I did my best to show something for the day. I also couldn’t restore all the files because some were completely corrupted and it was too expensive to get every file.

R/C Spotlight: Pedar's Scale Garage (14 min 7 sec)

Today we are shining the R/C Spotlight on my buddy Pedar's RC cars and his scale garage. You've probably seen some of his rigs in my scale videos from IPSWICH. I've wanted to get over and film his scale garage for a while and I can now check that video of the list and show you all the cool stuff he is up to. Enjoy. I plan to do more R/C Spotlights to highlight what other people are doing in this wonderful hobby.

Custom Son-uva Digger R/C Monster Truck (10 min 58 sec)

I'm so excited to show you guys the "completed" custom Son-uva Digger R/C monster truck sitting on a Donald Jenkins' custom chassis. I'll post a link to his company and Drive RC - who made the body down below. I've wanted a Son-uva Digger RC since the Traxxas Stampede version, but haven't been able to get my hands on one. So when I had to the chance to get Donald Jenkins at Southern Builds & Customs R/C Fabrications to build a chassis...I jumped at the chance. I've been waiting for money to buy the rest of the parts, but decided to use 1 of my 2 Grave Digger SMT10s to outfit the build. This allowed me to assemble the Max-D as a stock (with a small brushless motor) truck. Really, the only thing I really need at this point is Heavy Duty bevel gears in the axles. I'm chewing through the stock ones with the Sidewinder SV3 system by Castle. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Atomik Barbwire 2 Second Run - 17in RC Speed Boat (4 min 4 sec)

I had an absolute blast with my first run with the Atomik Barbwire 2 -
even though I was nervously holding the controller - so I had to get out and run it again! I had even more fun this time because the location made it a lot easier to see and there were not real boats to worry about.

Custom R/C Loves To Play In The Mud! (3 min 34 sec)

After starting my day at the Virginia Aquarium, Hobbytown, and Best Buy with my boys, I came home to a muddy yard. It rained and snowed all morning and ruined my plans for RC fun that afternoon...or so I thought. Enter the custom R/C Mud Truck - Snakebite! I fixed the slipper clutch problem and was hoping it could handle up to the abuse...and it did! I did tighten the slipper all the way...so we'll see if we pay any consequences for that in the future.
Enjoy the messy bash. I will note that I did lose my driver. The seat was stuck on with double-sided tap and it came loose. I'll probably add screws on the underside. Have fun RCing this weekend!

Traxxas E-Revo Breaks On First Jump...GOES NUTS ANYWAY! (2 min 20 sec)

So I took my E-revo out to the BMX trails to test out the new Pro-line Badland MX38s. Unfortunately on the first light jump, one of the front drive shafts broke a pin and left me running rear 2WD only. I decided to bash anyway...and it went nuts! Even 2WD this thing with the Badlands on it was a dream to drive. These tires are fantastic. I had bashed them in my backyard the day before and may have already broke the pin on some hard landings (because this jump shouldn't have done it). Regardless, it is now fixed and ready to go back when the rain stops. Hope y'all are having a great start to your week.

SCX10 R/C Mud Truck Makes A Splash (2 min 33 sec)

The CCxRC Snakebite custom SCX10 R/C Mud Truck makes its first splash. My boys and I spent the past week digging a mud pit course in the backyard and keeping it soaked and soupy (yes...my wife is amazing). The 3S Venom Power to the brushless system in this truck was way more than enough to power through the sticky mud that had trapped my boys' boots moments earlier. .

Got some help driving from my 8-year-old son, Dino. He's the one who helped me build the custom truck. It was a fun bonding moment between the two of us.

Hope you enjoy the video.

$150 4WD 1/10 Scale Brushless Buggy - LRP S10 Blast 2 (14 min 22 sec)

I’ve got a new buggy on the bench! Gearbest sent me the LRP S10 Blast 2 to review for you guys. Did you just read tutu too? No, I’m not going to wear a tutu or review one for you guys. Back to the car. I’m guessing that the recent news from LRP might have something to do with Gearbest stocking these cars - even though they (Gearbest or the manufacturer) changed out the electronics listed on the box. That said, you are still getting the LRP roller with some new electronics in it that aren’t terrible. If I were to guess, these cars were made by the same manufacturer that makes the ZD Racing cars. There are too many similarities in the parts to not think so. It might be like the Helion in the US rebranding the VKAR. I’m not in the know on any of it, but trying to deduce what I can from what I’ve seen.

In the same way....you get the LRP chassis, but with are lesser price tag because of the electronics swap.
It handles pretty well for the price. I’ll do more testing and run videos with it soon for you guys. Let me know what you think about the LRP and ZD racing similarities. I honestly don’t know for sure...just speculating, but I could be wrong.

Check it out on Gearbest here: LRP S10 Blast 2 ⇨ http://bit.ly/LRP-S10-Blast2

CCxRC SnakeBite: Custom Mud Truck Reveal (15 min 8 sec)

The custom SCX10-based RC mud truck is finally done (for the most part) and ready to show. It's a pro-line 1980 Chevy Truck body on a Southern Builds custom chassis. I say it's finished for the most part, because I still plan to swap out the front axle with the metal one when the missing parts arrive from the seller, but other than that...it is the complete truck. Oh...wait...I'm probably going to add the servo steering wheel just to trick it out a little more because you mentioned it in the live stream. I'm getting the X DarkDragonWing Motion Steering Wheel by Yeah Racing and hoping it will fit in ok..the battery placement may make it tricky.

The chassis is made by Southern Builds & Custom R/C Fabrications: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SBCRC/

The custom vinyl stickers were made by Steve Shumaker. Send him an email if you are interested in having stickers made. His prices are super reasonable and he'll do large or small quanities. Email him at: CobaltBoost (at) gmail.com

Lastly, we've named the truck SnakeBite which works well with the Venom Battery that is powering the truck and also just joined on to sponsor the channel.

Hope you enjoy the video. Get ready for the mud action coming soon!

Atomik Barbwire 2 First Run & Speed Test (9 min 36 sec)

What a fun day we had today. We started work on the mud pit for the new mud truck build and then went out to test out Atomik Barbwire 2 RC speed boat. It was my first experience driving an RC boat and I was nervous. I didn't have a recovery boat of shame to take out if something went wrong and the only place I could think of was a canal that isn't very wide. I'd have preferred a lake, but we mainly have rivers and canals down here. In the end, it was plenty wide and the boat was fast and fun! It's pretty small which makes it very portable and it was very quick for the size. It turns on a dime, dives into the water and pops back up. The self-righting feature works great and saved me several times. The only scares I had were when some leaves go caught around the prop and it could only slowly come back to shore - that's due to the dirty water. I didn't expect to have as much fun as I did. My boys loved watching it and Dino even drove it.

I plan to test the speed again after the batteries and motor have broken in.

Huge "thank you" to my wife for trying to follow my erratic driving with the camera. It's not her favorite thing to do (by a long shot), but she did came out and did great.

CCxRC Mud Pit Test With Dual Motor SCX10 (4 min 45 sec)

We're getting ready for the first run of the custom 1980 Chevy Mud Truck build...so we had to build a mud pit in the backyard. Try getting permission from your wife to dig up the backyard and fill it with mud. Haha. My wife rolled her eyes, but was cool with it as she knows how important the channel is to me. So my boys and I set out to make a mess (in hindsight I could've made sure they weren't wearing their brand new pants or best shoes...oops...my bad). We've never built a mud truck course before, so we wanted to test it with the SCX10 to make sure it wasn't going to be too easy - it was. We did ad more dirt in the mud pits to make it soupier, but it was still easy. However, the more we ran it...the harder it got. So I think we'll keep it wet and soupy and run the SCX10 through it a bunch the really make it hard for the mud truck. We want to show it off, but we also want it to have to work for it.

You'll see that it starts to get stickier as the video goes on. Also, you know that I love Venom batteries, but you'll notice some extra mentions. That's because they've just stepped in to sponsor the channel and keep the vehicles powered.
Enjoy.
