I thought I would just make a little post about the wonderful Leadfeather Yak 55. This plane has been the single most instrumental plane in making my piloting skills what they are. Since it's creation I have built many Yaks's and wanted to share some pictures and video of all of them. One of the yaks even made an appearance in a school assembly, and the kids loved it! The funny thing about it is that this design isn't even a year old, and I didn't make one right away, so all these have been built (and many retired) in the past year. I love my Yaks!

Thanks to Ben and the wonderful people at the Fly-Low in I got lucky enough to when an SR in the raffle. Since I didn't have to spend any money on the kit, , I decided to try and paint it up nice. I had it recovered in white by a local guy, who did a great job, then painted it. My wife is a photographer and has a studio, so I went in one day and took over for a little Extra photoshoot.
