A project I've been working on, a single stick gimbal based on the Aurora 9 assembly purchased from Lynx Motion. The donor is pretty cheap at $20 for a 4 bearing gimbal. Only a couple more pieces to create before this is complete. It can probably be adapted to other gimbals from 4mm up to about 6mm shafts.

MicroStar2000 that is (http://mstar2k.com/). For those that don't know about this, it's a transmitter encoder. The encoder is the part that measures the sticks and switches in your transmitter, and converts those measurements to the signals needed for the receiver to move the servos. The signals are passed from the encoder to the RF section where they are transmitted to the receiver.
