Grab yourself a bomber before you can’t. Such a capable vehicle.

Will test a new spl made chasis. The plate is cut similar to my rally chassis which allow the arms to get a lot more droop, which really brings these cars to life. You may also add option lower gull arms inspired by yokomos buggies. The yd-2 is a phenomenal fun car on rally blocks, you can flick the car around very well and it's nimble as all get out.

RC Kong Team Styling (2 min 2 sec)

I'm the red car.

It's a nearly optioned out yd-2plus with some secret sauce, drift is some of the best RC one can practice, it's a real blast.

Do yourself a favor and grab a mini Z buggie while you still can. These little buggies are a great way to stay sharp with your Rc skills no matter where you go.

More progress on the Ralleye conversion. I replaced the front top c-hub links with yokomo ball and tie rod ends. Longer ball studs were installed for a better setting. The chassis has been prepared for larger arm travel. 75mm shocks are installed.

I wired up the esc to find it was shorting out. Even the steering servo would cause the system to shut down. I don't know if Viper RC is still supporting their product. Disappointing hiccup.

New 4 door WIP.

This shell was gifted to me for helping a customer convert and setup his YD-4 for RWD. When I 1st received it, the body was covered with sponsorship decals, the owner didn't like the look of it. I removed all of the stickers and tried my hand at covering larger areas of the shell with vynil to cover the body post holes. I hand cut all the paneling and window trimming and added a yokomo carbon fiber wing.

Well it's finally done. In the spring of 2016 Tamiys's TCS format changed control motors from 21.5t to 25.5t. This was suppose to be make the cars more user friendly and at the Tamiya USA track in California they recorded lap times that were only .5 seconds off the faster 21.5t pace. I finally procurzed the narrow front arms to make the 101w legal with the format. My 103wGP chassis is still my favorite for parking lot asphalt racing but I'm looking forward to finding the sweet spot for the already well mannered neutral 101.

A new ESC is inbound to replace my tekinPro, the tekin will return to a racing platform. Boosted ESC means adding a big turbo 3D printed scale under the bonnet, because why not?
