I was recently looking on the internet for information on the available glow plugs for four cycle engines. I had no idea there were so many types/brands available. If you also look at 2-stroke plugs, man there are just so many brands and types to choose from now it is staggering!

I have an ASP 5 cylinder radial engine. It normally just has straight pipes for the exhaust. It sounds great like that too. But when a ring or circle exhaust pipe is used, it gives the engine a more pleasing sound.

Commercially made units that I know of, are the Keleo Creations Inc "Magnum 400 Radial Exhaust" at $175 USD plus s/h. And also the Just Engines Inc "JEN Collecter Ring Silencer" at £125 GBP plus p/p.

Since I like to make things, and I also like to save money, I decided to try and make my own radial exhaust aka ring silencer.
