I got to fly a lot more today.

I got at the Field at 9:00 , I slept in a little and was an hour late. I tried out my T-28 which I turned into a TailDragger. I really like the way it lands. I have to get some new wheels for it though ..... sometimes they will get stuck and cause the plane to tip over.

I flew the FunJet and even tried a 4 Cell battery which gave me ALOT more power ! But the servos where not strong enough so I didn't get a chance to push it , on the landing a got hit with a nasty cross wind gust and caused it to land on one wing tip. It broke one Control horn off and one control arm off. I replaced those when I got home. I will upload some pictures later.

I also got some video of some of my stuff.

Memorial Day Weekend Flying (6 min 42 sec)

It was a good day , not many crashes on my part , but their where many that were not mine.

I am going to get my Sukhoi and Reno Racer in the air these week , if my packages come.

I am going to start the build on this little gem.

I first mounted the motor , which is a Eflite Park 250. I am going to wait for the batteries before I get any further.

I am going to use Hi-Tec Hs-45HB servos and an Electrify Speed Control and some 2s 400mah batteries.

I installed one servo , but I need to solder the ESC so I can center it and hook up the ailerons. It should be a fun plane.

I got to do some serious flying today.

No more school , so if the weather is nice , and I can get a ride ... I can go fly !

I flew the FunJet , I was slightly worried about the repair I did to the elevon which ripped of in a landing last sunday, I used some hinges and tape to repair it. It flew just fine and I love the setup I am using.

I am running an HET 2w-20 and Turnigy 80 Amp ESC. Its a great 3s setup.

I had to buy a motor mount from CustomRcParts.com for my Super Cub and it fits prefect and is much more stronger than the one I made. It should last me a long time. The Cub is a really nice flying plane , I might add ailerons ... I just need to buy some other stuff first.

I flew the AMX and the T-28 also , I have really been pushing the limits with my T-28 , I need to get some video. I flipped the canopy off doing a knife edge and kinda messed up the nose gear .... again .... its not that hard of a fix though.

A guy lost a big gasser way out in the trees ... it didn't sound good and I hope he finds it.

I flew the Micro P-51 too. I messed up the motor , which stinks because its probably not going to last much longer. I like that little plane , but I should probably spend my money on other things.

It looks like Sunday will be OK for flying if it doesn't rain or get to windy ... their is only a 30% chance.

I am going to order a new motor for my Sukhoi and a new motor for my Reno Racer soon ... I can't wait to get the Reno Racer in the air.

I am also look at either buying a Warmliner here shortly to , if I can't find one I will will buy a Electric Glider ....

I finally got the chance to go fly ...

I only took three planes I flew the Suhkoi first and it flew great until the wings nearly flew off when coming out of a loop! It scared me and I made an emergency landing ... and it looks like the EZ connector decided to come loose and I had to land with one aileron it was a fun day with no other mishaps.

The T-28 and SuperCub both flew well !

I didn't fly at my normal field , I went and flew at a different flied with some other guys. They had some super nice helicopters and did some insane tricks.

I sent in the Wing and the Motor in last week ...

They gave the WHOLE wing set and repaired my Park 480 motor ! All I have to do now is hinge the aileron and get the motor mounted ....

Thank you Horizon Hobby ......

Now the plan is to use this plane to learn how to land a taildragger .... and then I will buy a 42" Slick from 3DHS ...

Well remember back when I thought I stripped a servo during a blender which caused me to basically wreck my plane.

I wanted to retest the servo , just to make sure ... and I found a little problem.

I simulated doing a blender when this happened ... look at picture one...

NO WONDER I CRASHED ! The control horn kept the elevator from recentering/ going back to neutral.

I also went on my simulator and made it simulate if a servo got stuck like that during a blender ... and it was EXACTLY what happened to me.

Is this a design fault ? If it is I will send an email to E-flite ... just to make sure they know of the problem. ( If they do anything)

Maybe they can send me a new pair of wings that were messed up in the crash .... or a new motor .... which also broke... (92.00 Bucks for Wings)

I finally got all the things for a 3s/4s setup for my Funjet ..... I can't wait to fly it.

To bad the weather in TN has been absolutely terrible ...
