DO IT WHILE YOU CAN!!

One day a woman's husband died, and on that clear, cold morning, in the warmth of their bedroom, the wife was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't "anymore".. No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat, no more "just one minute." Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used up and goes away, never to return before we can say good-bye, say “I love you.."
So while we have it, it's best we love it, care for it, fix it when it's broken and heal it when it's sick. This is true for marriage.....And old cars.... And children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and aging parents and grandparents. We keep them because they are worth it, because we are worth it.
Life is important, like people we know who are special... And so, we keep them close!
Suppose one morning you never wake up, do all your friends know you love them?
I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said.
Let every one of your friends know you love them. Even if you think they don't love you back, you would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do. And just in case I'm gone tomorrow

If you are able bodied be grateful. And if you are able to. Donate to a cause that helps those who are not.

My MS is taking a turn for the worse. It has brought more and more to mind what is going to happen. And that it may not be far off.

And I know there are many others facing the same thing I am. And much worse.

I have been active all my life. Did a lot of things. Flew my hang glider. Raced a stock car and did well.
Rode motocross.
Went hiking and bike riding. Had a blast. These things all have one big thing in common. I will never be able to do any of them ever again. I am truly glad I had the chance to do them. And that I took advantage of that and went for it.

Now I have the challenge of staying active in the hobby. That is becoming more and more challenging. And I know that building will soon be a thing of the past for me. I am not completely resigned to giving that up just yet. But it will not be long. What would have taken me a few minutes before now takes hours and some times days to do.

I can still fly. But even that is changing. And I know one of these days I will be down to watching others fly their planes and talking.

But again I am glad I have been able to enjoy the hobby for so long. See so many changes happen. See the hobby grow and mature.

So please. If you can help someone get started. Do it. If you can help someone fly who might not be able to otherwise do it. You will be glad you did!

And if you can donate to MS research or other cause that helps fight a disease that affects people's lives so much. Please do!

Be grateful for what you can do now and make the most of it. All too soon and so easy it can be gone for good.
