Working in London this week, so staying with family in Oxfordshire. Managed to find the time to build my Christmas present - an Eflite Byp Yak.

I can't decide if I like it or not - the kit is a bit of a curate's egg. Good in parts.

The screen printing is very poor on the foam, but the kit is very complete otherwise. No doubt I'll be very impressed with it's flying characteristics and forget all about the problems...

Ah, the second in the series. Let me explain!

Back in August 06, RCM&E sent me the Ultrafly Ultimate biplane for review. Unfortunately it died a spectacular death, when the elevator keeper came unhooked, the model diving in from about 30ft.

Accepting that things like this sometimes happen, CML let us have another, and no expense has been spared to ensure the same fate doesn't befall this one!!!

I've promised not to fly iy until the static pics are in the can...

Another Christmas present completed!
Got to love these auto air paints and the flash reducer. I've never painted anything so quickly in my life!

I just upped sticks from the ancestral home of us Becketts, and moved the family to Lincolnshire, to be nearer the wife's clan. Got a bigger house for the money, and a more relaxed lifestyle. Should have done it 10 years ago!

Christened the workshop with the build of a new Votec. Here's a pic...
