Dear PC21 Fans and Friends

I have posted this discussion within pne of the blogs but thought that I will go for an extra thread as the topic is widely discussed.

Its with greatest respect that over the past 2 Years I am reading and closely following your ESM PC21 experience and developments.

I must say that without this platform we (as a PC21 fan community) would never be at the level we currently are ! Congarts , great stuff!

I am building my ESM PC21 since two Years, yes intermittently and slow, as I am pushing other smaller projects that I am flying meanwhile.

One element has not given me satisfaction and I have started a small investigation, collecting all feedback and video shots together. Its about the elevator and how risky it would be, to keep the original setup in the plane.

Firstly, we have to confess that there is something going on in the rear end of that aircraft when operating beyond a specific speed. I could summarize that this is the case starting at approximately 100 Mph. So if you intend to go to and beyond that speed, you might whant to continue reading otherwise leave it....

VIBRATION
One of the most feared elements in aircraft structures is the fact that all aircraft are subject to vibration and if not controlled (dampened) it can lead to destruction. Beeing large or small aircraft.

After having my 1.3m FlyFly Hawk in service for one season, I would like to share my experience and modifications with similar interested EDF foamy friends.

fuselage and wing surface sanded and layered with water based wood filler.
