Burned something on com board by plugging both ESC and BEC at the same time. 3rd picture shows it right by the brown wire.

I liked my original 3.6 m REF for its size.
I love 3.2 m FH for its handling and been flying it all the time.
This time it will be 3.6m FH V-Tail.
Well not quite a V-Tail. In name only. Plus it will be full flying tail.
Got parts for the plane from various RCG members. Some are totaled, some need work. Some will be donors of organs.
I finished making the gimball which will hold both feathers at same plane at all times and rotate whole assembly in yaw and pitch.
Tail feathers are made out of wing tips. Here is first issue. They are parts of the wing so they're profiled and even got some camber. I might have an issue with tail which wants to lift. And how is it going to behave when speed changes? They will have to be recovered, but i didn't pick the color yet.
Boom is out of older pulsar. It has a mounting plate at the end, which actually will help me to attach gimball. Stabilizer v-mount had to be removed. It wasn't easy. Original owner had carbon tow wrapped around it and epoxied and ca'd to boom.

I didn't care much for REF.
I traded my 3.6 REF wing for 3.2 FH.

Started work by making flap horns since I already made a set for REF wing.
This time all linkages will be carbon rods with Hayes clevises at control surface and Sullivan steel clevises at servos.

I was able to score one brand new for almost 30% of retail and just couldn't refuse.
I am an advocate of full house planes. This is my first attempt of a bird w/o ailerons.
I will try to make my flaps work just a little as ailerons. I will have to change the horns, so i get enough travel both ways. Up travel is limited by wipers and angle of leading edge of flap and trailing edge of main part of the wing.
Will find out how that works
I've seen on other builds AUW of low 50oz as goal.
I'm setting mine to below 50oz! (1417g)
This goal limits me, what hardware I end up using.
So first thing is make my own horns.
Here they are: 1mm thick woven carbon.
