Been out of the hobby for a long time now due to school and other commitments but over my winter break I have had a huge desire to fly some of my planes. Fixed up a lot of my planes to make them flyable again and today I flew something in over a year! Flew my p51 and my f14

After I flew my planes today I asked myself "Why did I let myself get out of the hobby "

Hey everybody this is one of my newest planes its the blue EPO HK extra 260. The plane looks great and if your interested or just curious check out the main thread here:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1427184

I did make a video on whats in the box and how to assemble it for anyone that is not quite sure if they want to pull the trigger on this plane just yet, I would advise you to read through the thread though some other pilots are experiencing motor failures and I had an ESC failure. But on the plus side this plane is cheap and has one of the best finishes of all HK's planes! Check out the video:

Still having a blast and with the larger battery, flight time could have been 10-12min but I just brought it down and then practiced some landings.

Another sweet flight!!!

I didn't feel like driving up to the park so I just flew it right off the driveway. Tried a few new stunts and didn't crash so it was a great flight.

Review/talking about the Turnigy transmitter glove: its a must have!!! (3 min 12 sec)

Well everyone wants one and I can see why, its works great, super easy to use, and no more freezing fingers! The best part about it is that you can fly in the winter or when its cold and still maintain good control of your transmitter sticks, something that would be a little lost when your wearing gloves. I have been using mine for about a week now and I am in love, I don't worry about the temp anymore because I know that my hands are going to be nice and cozy. Not much else to say the Turnigy transmitter glove works great here is where you can get it:

Exceed Rc 70mm edf jet F-18 with retracts: "Whats in the Box" (HD) (3 min 0 sec)

This is my new jet and it is very new to the market so if you haven't of it that is why. But i did get this jet from nitroplanes and very happy with there service so this will not be the last time I buy from them. As you can tell this is the kit version because I really wanted to put a nice power system in it, and the F18 is my favorite jet so i wanted to fly in style also very fast Here are some links if you are interested:

Hobbyking/Global Fly T45 rc edf jet: build video (HD) (3 min 31 sec)

Finally got around and finished my T45, it was pretty simple just needed to switch out the servos and add my own power system. This T45 is made out of EPO foam so its going to be super tuff and no more of that hanger rash or putting dents in the foam by picking it up. All I have left to do is to add the decals but that can take a maximum of 5min so thats why I didn't include the pics in the video.

Here are the links to all the stuff you would want to know about this jet:

Well here is the new plane that i've been designing for about a month now and finally took the time to build it. And instead of taking pictures and uploading them after everything I get done working on it I just used all the pictures, added some music, and we have ourselves a build video. Not sure when the maiden will be but enjoy the video and tell me what you think

Here is a look at my new T45 from HobbyKing, this is the replacement for my Sapac T45 and the only difference is that this one is made out of EPO foam. I wanted to get the kit version but the day I was going to purchase this jet it went out of stock so I went with the plug n play for $20 more (not a big deal and I will probably use the electronics to build a plane or something). Once I do get all the electronics out the power system i'm going to install in it is going to make this jet really really fast and I will get more into details in my build video so stay tuned for that. Here are some links if you want even more info:

Were did I get the jet:

Had to replace one of the servos with a reversed servo, it was a lot easier then I thought it was going to be (only took three weeks to get around and do it ). But finally ready for maiden which hopefully we will have a no wind day soon because its starting to get pretty chilly.

Here is the video I made with some pics and a control surface test:
