Well long story short.. My neighbors kids asked me to come to their house to talk to their dad. It turns out hes been watching me with my rc trucks and dug out his old Original First Gen Tamiya BlackFoot!! he tells me the story of how he got it as a gift when he was a child and only ran it for 1 summer until he broke the radio and put it in storage. He didnt want to mess with fixing it now so he said i could have it! Awesome random gift!

The Truck is pretty much original except the dodge body that was put on later and the original lost along the way. All the mechanics and electronics are all there and original!

well as a dare i drove my slash full throttle down the street and with my luck it drifted to the right side of the road and hit a curb strait on!! When it hit the curb it just exploded! also it took chunks out of the concrete! wow! It hit with so much force it bent the center axle shaft!

i was just wandering if anybody had the parts i need to fix her. As a high school student i dont have much cash sorry. i just want to get my only rc i have left up and running.

Well after going thru atleast 1 body pin a day bashing i got sick of it. so about a week ago i bought some of those elastic rubber clip holders. Those really didnt work out to well cuz when i rolled it and skidded the first time on its lid it cut thru the rubber and rendered them useless. So i decided to make my own. all i did was take some small chain and cut it to length and hooked it on my slash 4x4s front bumper and the clip on the other end. It looks legit and is very functional. They work pretty well

Well after over a year of being out of the hobby of rc flying i decided to refurbish one of my old planes and start again. I purchased this T-34 mentor at a swap meet stock rtr for $6 and she was really slow and ugly. So first i put a brushless system in it then i let my little cousin paint it(bad idea) it came out really ugly and heavy. He painted it blue and orange with brushed craft paint. Then after that it hung up in my room for over a year untested. So Wednesday i decided to get her going again! i went over all of it with some really fine sand paper to get the paint off best i could. (didnt come off to well). Then i took some flaskolor black and red paint and went to town on it with my air brush. i couldnt really do to much as i could not mask anything. if i put tape on the foam it would peel up the new paint. so i just went with a simple fade with decals. i also put on some larger wheels!
I will be needing some more lipos and cash is hard to come by now as im 15 if u have some cheap 2-3 cell lipos u would like to sell or donate that would be great!! LMK what u guys think of her.

i was out driving my slash 4x4 and suddenly i lost power and this big clinking noise appeared so i pulled it in and guess what? i broke the center shaft!

i was going full throttle down my street when i car came that i didnt notice. So i thought fast and turned right into a curb and almost hit my self. LOL now i have to by a new chassis and bulkhead and die it black

i decided to dye all the grey and white parts on my slash black to do somthing different. i dubbed it the shadow slash after the shadow e-revo project i copied it off. here is a link on how u dye plastic parts using simple rit dye.

i got this truck already started from Nick84. he is a very nice guy and very cool to deal with. i got it as a roller with esc and motor will be adding everthing else. it is 2wd with a evx-2 and revolver 700-ho motor. will post more pics through out the build LMK what u think i love all opinions.
