It has been a while since I built a boat from scratch, and this would be the first V hull from scratch - the 1/6th scale Crackerbox from Jerry Dunlap plans to make a 31" boat. I scaled up some 1/10th scale plans, ordered wood and away we go. The full size boats are a maximum of 15' 6" in length, which is 31 inches in 1/6th scale. The 1/10 plans were for a 20" boat, which is actually too big. I scaled up by 155% to get the right size. I also deviated from the plans when building the cockpit and front hatch, but otherwise it follows the plans.

The club added this as a new class this year, using P-Limited power, scale like fins, tabs, centered rudders and the prop under the transom... And turning left, like the real boats. We did allow flex drive, and do not require a straight shaft, with the hope of getting a slightly better handling boat.

With this update I am almost up to paint....Continue Reading

TBS Caipirinha I bought new when these first released and must say the Foam TBS uses is very Durable , I Modified the Wing a Bit By Strengthening the Nose with 1/6" Carbon Fiber, to make it solid as I knew I would Not use a GoPro , I also Made a Beefier Motor Mount to house the ESC with the Same Material and Clear Laminated the Entire Wing! This is a Jewel I love this Wing, Using all TBS Electronics came in a PNP ,, was a Bit tricky learning to Launch Properly but with Proper Balancing and Proper input throws its one of My favorite Park Fliers ,, I have not added any FPV Equipment or made any Major Cut ins as I moved to other Projects, but look forward to Experimenting with a V2 that is still in the Corner !!

Hey hello and welcome,

after having ordered this Wing and beeing sure it's inbound I felt it was about that time to start a new Thread here to all fellow owners!

There are two versions:

1) The Kit version without any electronics
2) The PnP version

I've ordered the Kit as I think of customizing it a lot.

Feel free to post pictures, videos and build logs here as long it matches the topic!

I'll do the same - have fun!

The MJX Bugs 3 is a mini brushless drone with entry level racing abilities that now features the highly asked ACRO mode. It is equipped with 1306 2750KV brushless motors that provide good efficiency and by using as 2S 850mAh 45C LiPo battery it advertises a 10 minutes flying duration. The 2.4G remote control transmitter supports 2-way radio and will warn you for weak control signal (out of range) and battery low-voltage.
How does it perform ? You will see in the video.
