Gals and Guys,

It all takes one Knuckle Head that thinks the NOTAM notifications don't apply to them.

I mean how can you possibly think this man didn't know the President of the United States was not in his vicinity?

You must be some sort of caveman not listening to the news!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, things just got worse!

Hello Gals and Guys!

With all the FAA / AMA stuff happening I finally decided to fly my micro Estes Proto Z inside my own house which has its own rules and regulations.

The first Rule is the be Safe and not allow the device to go too far and run the batteries too low according to the instructions.

The Final RULE: TO HAVE FUN!

Weigh-In of the little micro Quad was exactly 3/4th of an ounce!
Way below the 0.55lbs (250grams) limit for the FAA, that "Is" should I decide to fly it outside. In any case I have complied and registered with the FAA on Monday, December 21st, 2015 and I am all set.

This micro Quad Copter is amazing! I marvel on how Tiny it is and all the Electronics it has that weighs next to nothing.

Okay guys,

First, I believe that I have found the issue with why my model went in the drink. It appears that the used E-Flite 30-AMP ESC that I purchased from eBay had been overheated "or" suffered some overheating and the wires going to the motor were really lose and brittle causing the insulating to crumble easily and at least two wires going to the motor shorted out. Therefore, the possibility that my Spektrum radio equipment was not entirely at fault.

Second, at least on my E-Flite J3 Piper Cub the covering was just too much work re-ironing and so, I went ahead and completely took off the flimsy covering that was delaminating like crazy.

Third, the hardwood glued up front at the FUSE was completely warped and reason for the covering not to stick as it took in lots of water during the swim at the lake.

These models suffer from easy breakage at the wing saddle and I went to town in fixing it with some re-enforcing BASS wood.

Well, in case you all have not seen this model in the bones, here is mine!

Certainly, I have purchased a "NEW" Hangar9 Covering Roll to make her look like new. Yes, it was a mess taking off the old covering but, worth it.
