Outdoors this thing literally flies when the wind catches the body underneath. I've since cut open a few more holes. -

I got tired of unscrewing the battery box to replace the batteries, so I stuck a 1700mah 2s 6.6volt LifePo4 pack in it. Fits nicely. Now a charge lasts 2 days worth of driving around the track. I use adapters so I don't have to take it out - ever. -

I wore out the steering servo in no time. Last weekend I swapped out the OEM's for HV Hitecs and a 3300T rx. The whole system runs directly on a LifePo4 pack. -

The pack before I put it in semi-permanently in the battery box. I made the plugs accessible from the outside and used extensions to charge it without having to unscrew the box to get to it. -

Busted a stub axle this past Sunday. I thought it was the nut that gave out. I was hoping I didn't lose the pin. Nope got the front tire, pin, and nut all intact. Lol.

My first serious mod - inline priming bulb. It's very important to get the fuel to the carb on a cold engine. Unfortunately, the bulb restricted the fuel flow with a one way valve. Not good. Leaned out my engine. -

After a practice session at an outdoor track. There was a puddle that everyone tried their hardest to avoid. Sigh. -

Looks awesome all dirtied up. Might do my next paint job with "dirt" on it. Lol.
