This is my old Helios that I have flown for several years. One small patch (cf) on non-throwing side of wing. Very nice shape.

Helios wing and stab, Tom Siler fuse and vertical.

Took it out today, 6-27-15 to test some new radio settings. Bummer, so many thermals that it was tough to do any trimming. Caught more thermals than I did with my Snipe

It's late February and we have just made plans to return to the gold fields of Western Australia and use our detectors to find enough gold for the latest moldies. (My plans for what we find, not my wifes).

We have been doing this since 1996, more years than not, and really enjoy the 3 or 4 months we spend north of Kalgoorlie, in the outback.

We'll be back in time for the summer hlg contests in the Northwest.

After traveling in our motor home since the early 90's, we have settled on Arizona for our residence, but will still be traveling to Olympia, Washington to see our good friend in the HLG community and our three children.
