72" depron Spitfire.
Based on a Tony Nijhuis plan from RCM&E magazine a while back.
550kv Changed from 3s 6000mah 17" x 10 prop to 6s 3000mah with a 15" x 10 prop for a little more power.
60 amp esc
AUW 6.5 lbs
Maiden ok apart from landing and not quite enough power.

I had some spare 3mm depron, a 3-view and a spare hour.
Flies really well and looks great in the air. Hours of fun in the garden for about 50p.
No video yet.

I built this around an edf that somebody gave me.
Having never flown anything like this before, wasn't sure what to expect.
It flies really well, it's a pity about the pilots skill level!

I built this for my son to learn to fly with.
Quick and easy to build, although I didn't use the mono block technique, and a fantastic plane to learn on.
