( 3-views already placed on the Right-Top-Front Planes, and scaled to size.) Opened a sketch on the Right Plane and Traced the side profile with a spline, using minimal amount of points. The radius at the tail end is split at the center-line. -

Raipes Profiles.... looks real good. -

Planes are added from behind the cowl (since it will be plastic) to the end of the fuse. I like to place them at key points, like the start & end of the canopy, and where there's changes in the profiles, such as the tail, wing, etc. -

I ended up splitting the side profile into two, (at the back of the canopy) seperate front & back sketches, because when lofting the fuse sections, the curve of the canopy (in the side profile) will cause a crease in the 3D model when used as a guide -

And the back half of the side profile. Just make sure the belly line of both profiles, front(side) and back(side) are tangent, and either equal or similar curvature. -

Front fuse sections.. the first section (A) is actually a circle, the other two were sketched to match the profile sketches and 3-view. -

Back sections made the same way as the front, using both top & side profile sketches and 3-view as guides.

No tail wheel for steering on this bird. -

A look at the oversized wheels and bent landing gear which are needed to take-off and land from the Club field....can you say bumpy ;) -

A tight fit...... notice the original wheels are quite small, more scale, but just doesn't work for take-offs and landings...nose-over city! -

Here's the scheme I'm thinking of going with, except the silver will be the original gray covering, don't want to re-paint or re-cover her...too much like work :) -
