We were in getting an update on the baby today. Here's a mug shot.

Bridgerland RC Club provided a static display yesterday at the local mall. It was a good chance to show our planes off, and do a little promotional work as we have planned a "Youth Day" at the field. We will be doing buddy-box training and demonstrations.

The smallish plane in the back is mine.

This is the maiden flight day. She flies great. It needs a smaller lipo. We maidened it with 6s5000 because that's what I had on hand. I've since purchased 6s3300's.

Set up as follows:
Scorpion 4020-16
6s 3300mah Nanos
HS-225 in wings
Some fancier digital Hitecs in tail (don't remember but they are overkill)
AR-8000 guided by DX-8
Throughs dialed in as/per manual but half the expo

Over all thoughts:
Well built
Great covering but not a lot of overlap at the seems so be cautious when tightening the covering as to not come up exposing wood.
It's too heavy with 6s 5000mah battery
It fits in the bed of my shortbed Chevy half ton under the bed cover with the wings on
Mine tracks identically upright or inverted
I'm not a great 3D pilot but it hovers on my set up

Thanks Duke. I would have never gotten it done.

Edit: I've been flying with 6s3300mah NanoTechs now for several weeks. Much better with the reduced weight. They have to go pretty far forward to balance but there is plenty of room. Hovers at ~half throttle. Nutty power to weight ratio. I've not downloaded any logs off the CC Ice 75. I usually just turn that feature off.
