This build is all about performance (Basically the most versatile UM RC bush plane).

With a 3000 KV motor and a 2S 7.4V 280 mAh battery it should have more than enough power to accelerate in a vertical climb.

No stickers and no gear leg fairings to save weight.

Should be a quick build and an awesome performance aircraft!

So I finished the plane today! I covered then painted the rest of the fuselage, connected all the pushrods, installed the prop and the landing gear and now she’s ready to fly!!

I do need to add the decals still but I don’t know what serial number I should use.

But in the mean time I will be conducting a maiden flight here soon...

So I received my servos/reciver part and my prop and pushrods today and installed all those parts except the prop. I also stretched the wings (I actually couldn’t get all of the wrinkles out but I tried my best to have it get as tight as possible.)
I then painted the main wing, horizontal stab, elevator, vertical stab, rudder and landing gear doors. Then mounted the main wing to the fuselage!

Tomorrow I will cover the rest of the fuselage and connect up the elevator and rudder to the pushrod assembly, and finish putting on the rest of the parts!

I have now covered the main wing and still have to apply a mist of water and alcohol over it to make the tissue stretch. I also painted the nose cowling a Navy Blue and will do a gloss coat tomorrow!

More updates to come!

I started this project a couple of days ago, it is not a buyable kit it is just scratch built with plans from a bigger scale model but just scaled down to ultra micro. Servos and reciver are on their way. When it is done it will look similar to an Eflite UM plane but just a little smaller. I’m really enjoying building it and can’t wait to fly it!

The specs are:
Wing span- 12”
Length- 9 1/4”
Height- 2 3/4”

I’ll post more pics as I go further in the build!
