1,Advanced intergrated Flight control receiver: Gyro off ,it's an ordinary receiver.Gyro on, it become a receiver + a flight contoller

2,If you are beginner,Detrum 6-axis gyro receiver can help take the fear factor out of the first few flights. If you are a more experienced pilot, it can give you the confidence to practice more risky maneuvers.

3, Open Port: parameters of receiver can set on Detrum TX directly, can fit any aircraft with different sensitivities.

My first post of this Glow-To-Electric Conversion can be seen at:

UPDATE: RE: Carl Goldberg Tiger 2, 40-size (61-inch wing span)

Tail Boom Weight Considerations:

Okay, this Carl Goldberg Tiger-2, 40-size must have flown with an internal combustion Engine (Glow) that is at least 12oz. of weight because it has been just Hell in getting the Center of Gravity on the mark even using the older Turnigy 3-Cell, 5,000mAH, 35C, Lithium Polymers (14oz).

The best location I have been able to get for Center-Of-Gravity was 4.5 inches which is way rearward than what the manual says (Tail Heavy). Considering that the Main Landing gear was bend AFT (Rearward) to prevent the model from rotating on ground and most especially to avoid an early rotation on take-off, I would suspect that the Center-Of-Gravity needs to be as close to the specified mark per the manual.

Speaking about the manual it does say I can fly this model with a most rearward Center-Of Gravity of 4-3/8 inches measured from the front leading edge. That is before my 4.5 inches! I have looked and looked for an alternative Brushless Motor (Inrunner or Outrunner) that would at least be a porky of 12 oz. or more but, that retains at least 850 Kv. No such luck.......!

I looked at an alternative to what I have installed and the AXi 2830 that has 790 Kv and has 8.3 oz. of weight but, is just a little over 2 ounces more than my Axi 2826 that...Continue Reading

A big shout out to this person on Youtube:
Betaflight 4.2 tuning for long range (7+ inch) | 8inch | Iflight xl 10 | xing 2806.5 | blackbox (3 min 15 sec)
For providing settings that removed almost all jello in my video's. I'm still learning how to tune and having a jello-free return point of Pid-configurations in a back up when it goes wrong helps A LOT. THANK YOU.

Yep Les Amis,
"CinémaDynamique" ! Lol ...

I had basically finished the design for 1/6 scale landing gear, counting mostly on casting and machining. With 3d printers so good now, and careful design practices I can make more of the functional parts with the 3d printer. This is not the best picture but is the complete hub. The stainless steel oleo and axle will actually bear the load, but this keeps things where they belong in addition to looking nice. Not sure yet if 3d printed scissors will hold up or if I'll need to cast or machine those.

RC model of YAMAHA's experimental hydrofoil OU32 manufactured in 2008.
At the time of production, it was only possible to sail in a straight line, but in 2020 this year, the hydrofoil system was completely refurbished to enable free turning movement as it surfaced. Its appearance is like a fighter running on the surface of the water.

2 full days of soldering yielded the fully wired truck with mockup of the user interface panel. A mane power switch was deemed essential, given the number of servo & bluetooth radio glitches which require resets. The mane power switch doesn't cut off the 2nd battery, though. The 2nd battery feeds in through the accessory connector & the hope was to rarely have a 2nd battery.

The user interface panel was envisioned hanging off the cargo area, encapsulating all the LEDs, radios, & switches. It eventually should also contain the debug header. It was a complicated wiring job.

XK A430 did not die today (7 min 18 sec)

That gyro Blows !

Calibrating the gyro does nothing !
I kept raising the nose higher an higher and zip / nada / zero effect on the A430 hunting the ground .
Really is challenging to fly a model when it hunts terrible firmness .

More problems !
Those foam hinges are giving up .. I had to use a fair amount of tape to fix the issue ..
I would recommend taping them before flying , especially as I have only flown twice now .

Why do I keep getting rubbish XK planes .. I have 4 and every one has had issues ( PROBLEMS ) .
And looks like this XK A430 is not the exception to this troubling trend .
I dare say this will be my last XK product . I think XK has gone out of it's way to earn some distain ! ( Well done )
