And the DJI deals just keep rolling in. Best Buy on eBay has the DJI Phantom 3 Advanced for $599 with free shipping.

The advanced is the same as the pro but with a 2.7k camera instead of 4k and a 50w charger instead of a 100w. Other than that is it the same and still includes Lightbridge.

Today we tested the HeadPlay HD FPV goggles from Range Video and had a blast flying with them. They have an incredible field of view and very crisp screen and a receiver that performed pretty good overall.

Pros:
Wide FOV (72 degrees)
Builtin 5.8ghz 32 channel RX
HD Capable
HDMI input for 1080p from an Inspire 1 or Connex system
External AV input
Sit comfortable on your face
Only cost $249

Cons:
No video out
A bit big
Blue Screens on total loss of signal
Screen is a bit big and you find yourself having to look far to see items on your OSD

The first video after the intro is 1080p video we played through them from a PC via the HDMI input to give you an idea of the true clarity and resolution these goggles are capable of. You can skip this if you would like.

This is part 3 of our miniquad build series where we show you step by step on how to build your own miniquad.

In this episode we are mounting the motors to the arms and putting the voltage regulator inside the frame and putting the majority of the frame together. And also soldering up our main power wire, board camera, beeper and vbat connections. The build is starting to look like a quad now.

Next up is hooking up the motors to the ESC's and wiring the ESC's to the PDB board and heat shrinking it all up.

I'd also like to thank our sponsor multirotormania.com for providing the products you see in this video. Please visit their website and take a look at all the wonderful products they carry.
