2016 is finally the year I got my hands on a 1/6th scale model of the M5 Stuart from 21st Century Toys. I couldn't get the RC version and it was going to be another wait so I grabbed this opportunity right away.

Building and DIY conversion has always been a challenge for me specially crazy ideas..

Recently I got this cheap electric HUGE RC boat that runs on 3x 550 motor but runs incredibly slow!!

So I looked into my toolbox and found everything I need to do a conversion, a CRAZY idea came to my mind

First here is a review of the electric rc boat "Ocean Queen"

Dynam T-28 Trojan - Yellow Paint Scheme

Good day fellow flyers!

This is my second T-28 Trojan from Dynam and I really love the way it flies and all the tweaking and tuning I have done was a product of study and observations from fellow flyers in the Dynam T-28 thread and other threads alike.

I previously got the grey version based from a VA-122 squadron of the US Navy which was my very first RC plane. I flew it and crash-landed it and all flying lessons were learned from my first Trojan.

This time I decided to paint it yellow based on the VT-5 Training Squadron in Pensacola, Fl. I also decided yellow color to prevent myself from losing sight of the plane at considerable distances..lol coz I wear eyeglasses too

DAY 1: Stripping and Primer
Alrighty, first off I stripped the plane of all the electronics so that I didn't have to worry of any issues getting it damaged or getting it wet during the sanding process.

I began painting the whole plane in parts with White to cover the gray areas. One thing I missed was to pre-shade the panel lines with black, so it would appear realistic after the yellow color has been sprayed on.

Easy Wing and Servo Wire Mod for Sky Surfers

My son and I watched in awe when Sky Surfer glide and fly like gentle eagle in the sky at the flying filed one day so I decided to get one as well.

Well it's a big plane! yeah, and transporting it eats up a lot of space in the wagon. I didn't like disassembling the plane every now and then as it causes parts to loosen up in every assembly and dis-assembly, and the most troublesome task is to reach in for the servo wires and disconnect the extension wire from the receiver, it just messes up a great wiring arrangement

So here is what I had in mind.Since I hated removing the servo extension wires from the receiver and all that, I decided to have it fixed at an accessible location.

I cut off a few parts of the foam in the fuselage where the wings join together, just the same size of the extension plugs. I used double-sided adhesive tape to mount it, plus taped over to for added secrity. This exposes the connector under the wings for easy access.

Next up are the aileron servo wires. This in turn has to be exposed so that it can be connected or disconnected from the extension plug. This is how it looks on the underside of the wing joints. The servo wires pass thru a small slot that leaves it inside the fuselage.

Kyosho Superten EP 2 Speed (0 min 49 sec)

Original 2-Speed tranny tested with a Tamiya 27turn brushed motor, 12v esc and an 11.1v 2200mah LiPo.

The 2-gear pinion was from the original clutchbell which I managed to separate and mounted it on an old Tamiya pinion, lathed down to the inner diameter of the 2-speed pinion and forced fit, then CA glued

Never got to complete this project as someone got interested with the conversion, $old it as it is.

Dynam T-28 Trojan 1270mm Wingspan

Hello everyone, this is my very first RC plane the Dynam T-28 Trojan which I got as a partial Christmas gift from my wife

I am totally new to RC planes but not to the RC field as I have been racing electric 1:10 cars for about 6 years. I am quite surprised now that LiPo packs have existed when my last pack was a 4200mah NiMh the huge difference in weight and convenience have revolutionized the RC filed.

DAY 1: Impression:
Well I am totally out of words to describe my excitement and my eagerness to open the box... I feel like an 8 year old kid with a new toy!

The plane was HUGE compared to my little 1/10th cars that I got used to play with.

Bruder CAT Bulldozer RC Conversion (2 min 3 sec)

This is a BRUDER CAT Bulldozer of my son which I managed to convert into RC by using the electronics set of my busted RC Tank.

The tracks are still the soft rubber and has no design of grip with the drive sprocket.

The dozer can move forward and backwar, left and right, but since the tracks are rubber and had no good grip with the sprocket, it slips badly during turn attempts.

Watch the video.
