List of things I need to work on and fix on my Tonka Summit build:

1. (Complete June 1st 2021) Fix Camera wobble:
See this thread for my issue:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...t-System-issue

2. (Complete June 6th 2021) Calibrate my diversity receiver ground station

Calibration complete:
1.3GHz Calibration check on my ground station. (0 min 42 sec)

3. (Complete June 10th 2021) Add a switch to the diversity box to make power up nicer.

4. (Complete June 8th) Come up with a logo/name.
My V1 was called the "rover" so the name translated to the:
Tonka Summit Rover
I'll make a new blog post with pictures.

5. (Complete June 9th) Paint the logo on the body.
I ended up using shipping labels and and the "best" mode on my home printer to print it out.
I'll make a new blog post with pictures.

6. (Complete June 10th) Glossy Cote the body
I'm a little disappointing with the glossy coat.
I had originally painted the body in a high gloss black paint and that looked awesome. I wanted to protect the paint by adding a "lacquer" and honestly the lacquer actually removed some of the high gloss look. Hopefully covering the logo will give it a solid scratch resistance.

7. (Complete-ish) Get help putting the hood on. The hood kinda just holds its self in place, still not sure the best practice yet.

8. (Complete) Learn how to change trim steering for an...Continue Reading

Built a safety grill to store all my lipos and other batteries.
This thing was from years ago that rusted out so I slapped a coat of paint on it and fed an extension cord up the back.

The one I got from ebay was really dirty and gross. I had to literally give it a bath.
The tools I used to disassemble it were:
-Some pliers to wrench off the end nuts from the wheels.
-"S2" (Square #2) bit to remove the plastic roof.
-Long pliers to reach under the wheel wells to detach the hood.
