My Mobius action cam (wide angle) and my 2nd battery along with (more importantly) my low voltage alarm will all arrive today!!! Now I just need some velcro!

FPV gear should arrive Tomorrow!

Oh, and I joined the AMA.

If I can get this all wired up properly, I will have gone from zero outdoor flight to FPV in under 2 weeks. (I need a ton of practice still! Hurry Up Summer!!!)

Stay tuned!

I picked up a quad yesterday locally. After all my shopping here on line, i ended up finding a guy in town on craigslist who had one posted. The dude's name is Miro out of Des Planes, IL. I don't think he's a forum member but he was great to work with and took extra time standing out in the cold (6 degrees last night) explaining how to operate the charger and giving me a quick overview of interacting with the KK board.

On top of selling me the quad and the charger, he also included a toolbox loaded with extra heatsink, screws, an extra set of landing gear, a backup quad frame, a pile of spare props, and some battery accessories. If any experienced members want to weigh in on my new rig with any advice, etc. I would love to hear it!

I am working VERY hard to be patient. I did NOT get home last night and fly it immediately. I even managed to not connect the battery to the charger to get it out of storage mode. I am forcing myself to read the charger manual first so I dont hurt myself or the battery and After that I am going to read the KK 2.0 manual and go through the "first time setup" routine if I can find one. I am not sure yet, how to make sure the props...Continue Reading

Greetings, I'm Joe.

New to R/C. I would love to work my way up to doing video work with a multirotor. (I have been involved in the video industry for 20 years). In the past couple of years, I have spent a lot of time on[]=43 building up a sweet listening room and repairing gear.

Hopefully in a year or two I'll have some sweet Quadcopters to post pics as sweet as my Listening Room pics:
