SEFF 2011 is over and we are back home in good old Germany!
It stills takes some time to absorbe completely the trip that my son Nicolas and myself made. The first SEFF is always the most impressive one, I was told.
- Today I listened to the SEFF CrashCast and yesterday I downloaded some videos from and by this I went through the event again. Some things I even hadn't seen yet, the Tuesday and Wednesday footage e.g., so it completes the picture.
But the best part of SEFF you can't catch on film, because that's the fellowship and atmosphere that we experienced from Thursday to Sunday in Americus, GA.
Thanks to Laine, his wife, FiremanBill, Andrew, Bildo, Crash and many many other nice guys it was an unforgettable adventure.

Mentally I already "started to prepare" for SEFF '12.
I googled yesterday to find a Spektrum DSM2 HF module that goes into my Futaba T12FG transmitter to be able to maybe fly Laine's repaired Battle Chicken next year in my stick mode 3.

I also ordered a SuperFly in order to practice for the RC Night Bowling 2nd Edt. This invention of Laine and Crash was "the most fun you can have with your pants on" to say it in lmopar69's words.

A SuperFly is the only plane I intend to take to SEFF next year together with my transmitter and a pile of hot glue sticks.
But more important is taking part, meeting people, watching, chatting, having moonshine and smore at a campfire and not necessarily the flying itself, we found out.

It was soooooooo good!
