Last night, I got a chance to fly my Parkzone A5 from water. Since picking up the plane at the Weak Signals RC show in Toledo, I have had a few flights in my backyard with it. I was excited to get a chance to see what it could do wet and was very impressed with it's performance.
One thing I did not want to test was it's durability. I'm happy to report that it performed very well in that regard as well.
At the 5 minute mark of the video, there is a horrible crash due to my error of trying to go inverted following a touch and go. I had the thought of doing half a loop and staying inverted at the top of the loop. I did not have enough speed to keep the nose level, so I tried to recover but slammed into the water hard. I had to use "Pinky" the rescue boat for the first time to recover my plane. The plane held up great
