Hello guys, this will be my first blog, please donít hesitate to comment on how it can be improved.
First a little bit about myself. Iím a mechanical engineering student that just started flying mid-2019, discovered FPV in a drone project that Iím working on, it was quite a learning experience and I have had a lot of help from the community. So, I guess this is the only way that I can give something back to the community. I do not get paid.
So what we are going to have a look at today is the Diatone Mamba F405 MK2 flight stack. at a price of around £35 on Banggood, it is one of the cheapest 6s capable flight stacks available if I would say. a no brainer for broke students like me.
First look and feel in the hand, the flight stack is lighter relative to some of the more premium boards out there, only 6g for the flight controller and 10g for the ESC. This may be a problem in the in the ling run since there is not as much copper or material to absorb the shocks, but time will tell and I will keep this updated.
The flight stack comes in a pretty neat case like the MK1, the flight stack is protected by a lot of foam padding for protection. This I have to praise, since I have received some products from china that have just a bare static bag and got crushed.
Alongside the flight stack if a bunch of accessories: Wire diagram plate, 14Awg silicone wires, XT60, 35V 470uF low ESR cap, a wire harness and a bunch of spare rubber gromets, O-rings, a set of longer screws and nuts(...Continue Reading
