So, I took one of those $4 K-Mart gliders (that I paid $5 for at the LHS) and turned it into a Spetrum-controlled foamite. Gonna fly this one at the dome tonight, too. Once again, we'll see.

The power is two 100 mAh 20C cells permanently mounted in the nose. This thing is just like one of those $20 R/C foamies, only it costs five times as much.

Yeah, well, I picked up a really mangled old Parkzone Ultimate 3D at the Barnstormer's December meeting/auction. This thing was so rough I had to completely strip it and rebuild it. Lots of new foam, glue, carbon, etc. Since I knew it was gonna be heavier I decided to add some more wing surface. I don't have wheels on it yet, but it should fly okay as it is. I'll be trying it at the dome tonight.
