Hi guys Im 60 yrs old man, I been in this great hobby of ours for the last 48 yrs. I started in rc cars had a Thorpe 1/8 scale on-road racing at Thorpe RC speedway in Pomona Ca for around 5 yrs, then I bought a Dumas circus circus Hydro with a OPS 90 would drive over to Whiter narrows to race it. but it grew old pretty quick sold both the car and the boat and fell in love with airplanes and helicopters, Bud Ashcroft taught me to fly both airplanes and heli's he owned Pomona valley hobby's. We would fly out at the east parking lot of the Ontario race way. first heli was a Kavan Jet ranger (no gyro) then i picked up a American heli revolution great flying helicopter flew on Kraft radios then Bud sold me a 40 size MEN trainer built it on mother kitchen table she was not happy making cut marks in the table I was 18. Eventually I was invited to go to a giant scale event and I got the bug I currently have 20 plus giant planes of fighters and bombers and few civilian models. I scratch build, I mold fiberglass, own my own vacuum forming machine. I 2005 I bought Westcraft models i have all the molds everything to complete. There a B-17 all composite plane, 144" PBY5A, 112" P-51 Mustang, 120" HR-1 Hughes racer,82' A-20 Havoc bomber but because the kit market is dead I just mold for personal use. Current build is a 1/10 scale Arvo Lancaster bomber air frame is built, Its going to be all electric I made all the plugs for canopy and gun turrets still need to do fine tuning of the plugs before I can pull the parts. On my other build table is a Skyshark 82' wing P-40N, I modify the canopy and fuse to be a E model. Have a NGH 60I2 for stroke gasser with onboard starter set for it, Sierra gear with on board air pump, I reinforced the back of the glass fuse, added a hatch for equipment access. Its almost ready for paint and final assemble. I just started with 3D printing have both FDM and Resin my FDM is a Ender 5pro with few mods. So this me !!
