Heres my rustler, i got it from a friend, it was the old Xl1 version and looked not so cool with some new shocks, wheels, a body and a bumper, it looks alot more mean see the comparison.

all is left is to put some good electronics in, sadly its still running on the old xl1, with a 8 cell, it rips pretty bad, but gets hot quickly, looking to put at least Xl5 in it or something around 10t range.
thanks for looking

Hello everyone,

Well i had some motors that did not work properly or were bad, so i ateempted to rewind one. first i reused the wire just to see if the motor would run, and it did, yippe . So i stripped it and found a little spool of wire in the garage so i winded another one with new wire, and it worked too .
so this is the motor in the pic, i am going to start winding motors and eventually get better at it, and yes it gives a big advantage in rc flying.
I did not read anything to get started, just watched my friend Alex wind one, and with a few helpful tips, i was able to wing one on my own.

If anybody has a blown outrunner that they dont need, PM me, i can use it.

Please tell me how i'm doing, good or bad so i have something to keep in mind while i'm moving on, you can use the poll above .

Thanks for looking!

This is my new plane, the only one i have that is in flying condition.
me and my buddy Alex build this plane in about 4 hours, and man is it good!
seriously this is the best plane ive ever flown, moves quick, can fly fast or slow, do loops and stuff. plus its nearly indestructable. i crashed it about 8 times already and all i broke was the vertical stab and a piece of balsa on the fuselage cracked, a little epoxy and its back in the air again.
some specs:
40" wingspan
3ch, aileron and elevator
tower pro motor with 10A esc i think
runs on a 3s 1000-1300mah lipo

this plane does not like stalling, if you stall and you dont got altitude, you are in trouble cause it starts looping thats how i mostly crash it.
handles great in wind up to 20mph

i was bored so decided to make a quicky.
took me total of 2 hours(glue drying took most of the time)

carbon stick with some foam board on it

looks to be good and very well balanced, wanted to maiden today but too windy

stuff i used.
carbon stick ( steve you know where it came from )
foamboard
and epoxy
some metal tape too ( super strong)

electronics:
1 brushed GWS 370 geared motor
6" GWS slo flyer prop
7.2v 2s mystery 900mah lipo
1 GWS pico servo for the rudder
1 esky servo for the elevator
GWS 4ch rx
and a 10A brushed ESC

this plane is 3ch

i want this plane to fly kinda like slow stick, but will see..
this is the first plane that turned out good and did not end up in the trash during building process i hope it flies good
thanks

this is my evader ST pro

i got it from a member here and upgraded as much as i could, first of all i would like to give special thanks to some people

Ghostmechanic or Steve for the ESC
Jim Moody for the body, motors and bunch of other things
and Turbored for the truck

the truck is all graphite, got a 12t speed jem motor in it, vortex no motor limit ESC, GP3300 pack, OFNA receiver.

this truck is finished for me, the only thing i will have to get is the upggrated tranny.
anybody got anything please PM.

again special thanks to people who helped me make this happen.

i will race at the rookie track next year, this truck is not for rookies though, its powerful.

thanks
