I've been building these all my life and can't imagine not ever having one under construction somewhere in my shop. The smell of Ambroid glue and Sig dope will always be linked to creativity and nostalgia for me.

About 20 years ago I got involved in Controline Precision Aerobatics (Stunt), it's an event you never truly master. It might be interesting to note that I had already flown R/C and FF for many years prior to this. It takes years to fly the maneuvers well and it takes years to gain the skills to build and finish a model to compete at the highest levels. It was the difficulty of the event and the desire to "hang" with the people involved in this event that attracted me.

With encouragement from my new friend Shawn Lenci I started a new Yahoo Discussion group dedicated to all things Dodgson. Since getting back into sailplanes 5 years ago I discovered, and developed a fondness to this special line of sailplanes. This discussion group was started to foster continued appreciation for all of Bob's designs as well as for sharing your experience and knowledge with others.

Everyone is encouraged to join, ask questions and tell us about the Dodgson plane you had 20 years ago or the one you have now or the one you wish you had now.

Windsongs forever
