It was a nice flying evening with friends!

At one picture there are the 4 TopModel 69mm EDF Jets of which two of them are of a friend of mine.
The BAeHawk and the A-4 are in my collection

We had a great evening and it was also fun to fly the FVK Aquila!

First flying day of 2016

The TopModel A-4 did not fly yet, since I first need a few flights to get into the groove. This I did using my beloved SU-26m of Eflite.

Flights with SU-26m went well and I used the new 3s 2200mAh 45C Graphene packs.
The ESC I need to replace because the voltage under load is much higher then with my other packs! Endless power these new LiPoly packs
Now I use 35amp controller, but I did measure on the ground at full throttle almost 40amps!

This plane is already 9 years old and last week I did fly it again.
It was a blast because there was hardly any wind!

It was inside my Hangar and only needed at receiver.
Because I changed to Spektrum DX-8, Orange R620 receiver this unique epp plane is flying again.

Hello,

Here my KeithRider build.
HET-RC arf kit from the past. I could purchase it from RBCkits.com
He had a few left.

478gram and 75cm wingspan.

The covering was not very good, so I did cover again with oracover
Setup. 2x aileron servos Graupner 1081
1x HXT900 servo for elevator
Typhoon 6-13 motor with 5.5x4.3 Graupner speedprop
ESC Turnigy AE 25amp

Hello,

The Little 1meter EPO Piper Cup.
Sold by HobbyCity and I made it a bit more scale adding 1/10 scale pilot.
Also did lower the seats.

I fly it with 2s 1030 mAh Rhino 30C packs. The CG is good and for cruising, power enough

We have a very nice flying field.
At the picture you can see a P40 from China Models, P47 from Eflight and the Savex ZLIN-XIII.

At that day we had very nice weather and enjoyed our planes!
Our club has German members and Dutch members and it is just across the border in Germany. We have allot of fun there and everybody enjoys this great hobby

What happens if you fall in love with a plane and it does crash because of a wrong CG....
Well if you are still in love ...you buy a new one ....even if the other one is not that bad demaged.

It happend to me. I saw this plane the first time at espirit models. But I did not like the color setting. By accident I saw it again at the site from Bichler in Germany and the original "Silver" one.
Ooooh boy....it was love at first sight

Using google I found out the original story about this plane...which was even more exciting. The original was from 1937!!!!
Awesome...

Now last weekend I did fly my new one. 3 perfect flights and yeeee what a beauty. At the rc field everybody agrees.. "a piece of art" made by Savex.
It looks great and it flies great.

The new one did get another motor (a bit heavier) and it perfomed superb.
I had bad luck with my other LiPoly pack and did order a new one...also this one goes well and has allot of power

Well, attached the two pictures of last weekend and the original plane.

Cheers from a very big ZLIN-XIII freak!

Yo...and the Savex ZLIN XIII is one of them.

Mine is almost ready to fly. My CC-35 did let me down, so now I wait for a CC-45 (cc rule my planes)
But then it will be maiden!!

This is really a dream plane for me. The way it looks...the way it is build by Savex. In one word "amazing".
Original plane is from 1937 and that is impressive as well. The golden age of aviation...
