Storch #2 is on the build table as #1 had enough wrong with it to retire it to the circular file 13... With what I learned with the first one several mods are going into this one to make it more "Survivable" during landings with style. I doubled the fuselage sides, also modified how the gear attaches to the fuselage by using the outside sleeves from flexible control rods. These are glued in and Popsicle sticks over top of them for added strength. The gear rods just slide into the sleeves and are held in place by a zip tie going across the fuselage from rod to rod. This allows the zip ties to break on a "Landing with Style"... I need to get some more tape and then get the wings built with the mods added that are listed in my #1 Storch post.

Well the "Paper" airplane (Hoover) never really flew as it was just too heavy for the power package... Soooooo.... Time to Re-Kit! I have had these plans laying around for quite awhile and now with spare parts and a ducted fan and esc just laying there... Well you know what happened. This is just one days work, I started cutting the plans out at 9 am and by 5 pm there was a airplane on the work bench. Still lots to do so stay tuned... Mudman1959
