I have not had any interest in petrol planes mainly because no where to fly,Noise ...messy ect

but my old nieghbour was cleaning out the shed and gave my a plane he built with his father 25yrs ago .... wing and stabeliser damage.

so i thought i would give it a go.

flies great (verys stable) cut in some ailerons, new paint job and good fun.

very different to what i normally fly weighs in at 2kg...!!!

Scratch built foamys my first attemp,s see pic, all these plane built using Polystyrene

one was foam flyer design, and the onthers were done with guess work and did fly ok...

I enjoy the challange of building on a budget as this gets you thinking of alternative products and technique's.

Maiden ...crashed moved CG forward crashed agian ?? very twitchy ? more glue, more weight to nose now flies, but only it seems a under powered, but does fly just with a 10x8sf
