For anyone who might have missed these goggles during Banggoods Anniversary Sale or was waiting on reviews before purchasing.
The Eachine EV100 FPV Goggles have gone back on sale. They are still priced out at $159.99 on the product page.
But if you enter Coupon Code: EV100 at checkout the price will drop down to $99.99.
I am unsure how long this coupon code will be valid so if you interested you should probably act quickly.

Today I found some really really cheap DSHOT1200 ESCS that I think are being liquidated hence the really low price.
(In order to get this price you will need to use code "MRPC" at checkout)
Note: These Escs do NOT have a built in current sensor so if your looking to do current limiting on your escs these are not for you.

Racerstar Racer22 22A 2-4S 32bit DShot1200 Ready FPV Racing Brushless ESC ONLY $ 4.26 per esc
(must use coupon code "MRPC" at checkout to receive this price)

Frsky has done it again.
They took a great radio and made it even better.
The Frsky Taranis Q X7S has received a number of improvements over the Q X7 while still keeping all the great features of the Q X7.
Although I do not know all the details of the Q X7S yet, here is what I do know

  • M7 Hall Gimbals
  • Wireless Trainer with Free Link App
  • CNC M4 Lotus Stick Ends
  • Two Tone Paint Job available in two colors (Blue and Black or Carbon Fiber Finish)
  • Battery
  • Charger
  • Case

Whether you are a Beginner, Intermediate, or an Advanced Multirotor pilot
This 5 inch "racing" budget build should suit almost all your needs.
It is a beast of a freestyle machine with loads of power.

If you are on a budget and want to build your own (I strongly encourage you too).
Pick your own parts. You can mix and match every brand you can think of.
As you will get much better parts for the same price or not much more as most kits.

On this build I have OSD and am running Dshot600
I am using it with my almost stock Turnigy9x transmitter (flashed with er9x, but stock module)
and Quanum Cyclops V1 fpv goggles

Are these parts the best? No.
Are they they newest? No.
Are they budget friendly? Yes.
Does this build perform well? Yes
Can this build carry a Gopro or similar? Yes
Top mounted Battery? Yes
Replacement arms available? Yes

Here are some Pics of my Finished Build

Get standoffs for your flight controller preferably ones like these which will help to isolate the flight controller from any vibrations. I also suggest "soft mounting" your motors with something like this it will help stop vibrations before they start. With that said not everyone has issues with vibrations on their multirotors but if nothing else it will provide piece of mind.

If your bulding mini sized multirotors eg: 130mm to 280mm It's always useful to have an assortment of various length m3 screws like these and if your building micro sized multirotors eg: 130mm and less it always useful to have an assortment of various length m2 screws like these

I cannot stress the importance enough of getting a good quality power distribution board like this one
It will give you many options on how to wire all your components to power making for cleaner builds and the one i linked even has a built in Lc filter so you can power your vtx/cam directly from pdb and your video signal should be clean.Speaking of which its also a good idea to solder a capacitor directly to the same pads as where your battery connects to the pdb not only will this help to ensure a clean video feed it also doubles to help protect all your electronics from voltage spikes.

For soldering (which you will do a lot of) I like having an assortment of soldering tips For an actual soldering iron I'm using a Weller from Home Depot, its nothing fancy but it does the job well and it does have one...Continue Reading
