Hello guys- Today I received the 1/18 scale Hsp Kulak in the mail and i'm going to do a comprehensive review for you guys!

In the box

Crawler, body, charger and controller

Crawler- This is pretty much a clone of the Exceed Maxstone 1/16 crawler which isn't a bad thing. It has some aluminum parts (some linkages, rim covers, twin vertical plates, etc).

The motor is 260 Brushed which is good enough for regular crawling- it never overheats.

The esc is (to my surprise) a Hobbywing Waterproof brushed esc! I know its a basic esc, but its good to see an esc from a reputable company in this sub 100$ crawler.

The receiver is a 3ch-2.4ghz receiver with a port for a 2nd servo and lights.

The battery is a 7.2V 1100mAh Ni-MH (xt-60 connector) which gets me around 25-30 mins of battery life which is amazing.

Servo- 2.5kg with plastic gears. I like the servo for its speed and torque however, the steering radius is not impressive at all.

Tires- l like them- good for dirt, grass and some snow but not good for ice.

Charger- Takes about 2-3 hrs to charge battery

Decent overall crawler for the price
Great battery life
Option for second servo
Hobbywing esc
Aluminum parts
Full ball bearings

Steering radius is not great (you can see in my crawling video)
Included charger is slow
Body needs to be trimmed or else wheels will contact the body when the crawler twists
Torque twist can be an issue
High COG, why mount the battery at the top?

I overall love this crawler, it...Continue Reading

I just ordered the Eachine e010 (green) on Amazon and just got it in the mail. Here's what Eachine has packed into this beginner's micro rtr quad.

Included in the box was the controller, quad, USB charger, 4 spare props, battery (3.7v 150mah 30c lipo) and manual.

The quad itself is about 3 1/4 in wide (almost square) by 1in 1/4 tall.

I like this quad because of it's cheap price (21$) and it's quality- decent for the price

The motors are decent and it's pretty zippy (in advanced mode, the beginner's mode is slow which is good for kids and beginner pilots)

The canopy can be removed to clean off the flight controller board

It's pretty tough (crashed it a couple times) and the worst that will happen is the battery connector will come loose and you'll have to push it in again for the quad to work.

If you fly the quad high, let off the throttle then floor it as it falls- it can have a hard time recovering and can hit the ground at a slow speed but it will bounce up again (this usually only happens in normal/beginner's mode)

Battery life is a little short but for the price I can't complain for a whoop size drone (3-5 mins)

Battery 3.7v 150mah 30c lipo

The battery life is usually around 4.5 min if you are in beginner's mode but if you want to go fast and maybe fly it in a little (I mean a little) wind you should put it in advanced mode- battery life will be more like 3.5-4 mins.

The battery charges in 30-45 min if you...Continue Reading
