HK Mini DLG Pro @ The Sink hole (4 min 50 sec)

Took my HK Mini DLG Pro to the Sink Hole ( local park )
Wow ...

I set this up a long time ago and for some reason the mixes had become corrupted .. ( Flaps not working correctly )
Also I think the CG is too far forward as my elevator is super soft .. ( So I removed some lead from the tip of the nose .
I think my CG was 60mm from the L/E

What I really dont like .. The canopy retention tabs ( They break )
So today I fixed the broken tab on both my HK DLG gliders ... Raven and Mini DLG Pro

1) I took some music wire and heated it red hot then put a hole where the tab used to be
2) Screw in a small screw that will function as a tab
3) Some cyno to hold the screw in place
4) Viola - fixed

HK Mini DLG Pro
Came home and deleted all the functions ( All of them in all the menu's )
Then did the functions all over again ..

Programmed in a Launch function ( Right Aileron deflection )
Also programmed in flaps ...
Everything seems to be working ...
Next time I will have to re-set everything ... ( Flight trim all over again )
Such is life .

This is my latest build: a mobile ground station. I wanted to have everything I need in one package for long range FPV so I ended up putting all in one:
* 868Mhz RC Link;
* 5.8Ghz Analog Video & Audio;
* 433Mhz Telemetry Link;
* 2.4Ghz HD Video;
* 7 Inch HD Video Display;
* Small OLED displays for Power, Telemetry & Video Info;
Some other things I wanted from it: external power input and output (In case of low battery and to power other external devices too); video out, telemetry out, extensible (add more micro controllers to it, for like controlling multiple drones at once).
Overall, happy with the result and it does works great and I really like the fact that I don't have to deal anymore with cables, connection and stuff at the field. I just power on and fly whenever I'm somewhere.
Here are some pictures of the final result and some taken during the build process.

Since a young boy I have been a DIY designer/builder. I'm now 60. For a decade I designed 8 IOMs and built them with help from my friends I call my shop slaves.

I also design independent living aids to make my and more importantly my wife's life easier.

Two years ago I started to design and build my own wheelchair, ramps to load it into and out of our Honda Element, and convert the 'box on wheels' into a w/c friendly vehicle. Since then we have done a huge home renovation to allow me to live and die at home. I have a rare disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. The project has been on hold up until a month ago.

Tutorial - Build Part 3 - MinimumRC F8F Rare Bear Pro

Here is a link to the Video:

This Plug-n-Play Kit is courtesy of Banggood.
I've been wanting to try out one of these Brushed Motor Nano/Micro Planes and wanted to review the Pro Version which is a 4 Channel Plane.
I thought I would go through much of the process of building this Plane and getting it ready for it's Maiden Flight.
Hopefully that will help someone else complete a similar build.
Here we go!

Hi everyone.

Now I’m partial here to balsa planes and just like the way they fly. My foam planes usually consists of planes like the E Flite timber and are fun. I did some research and wanted a 3D/ IMAC trainer.

Well I went to my local hobby store and picked up the Extra 300. The quality is nice and assembly was super fast. The longest part was waiting for the 5 min epoxy to dry on the rudder hinge and tail wheel.

I was most impressed with the superb flying characteristics. I would say it’s very close to my larger Hangar 9 Sbach 60. It will do the beginner IMAC schedule with no problem and more. Inverted flight is spot on and it tracks great. It has good power on a 3s 2200 mAh and much more power with the 4s set up, the 3300 mAh gives me more flight time (5-6min) and balances the plane well. There was no issues with the CG with either battery set up.

On the watt meter I got 800-1000 watts with 73-75 amps with the 13x6 prop and 60-62 amps with an APC 12x6, which I like better. Just a side note, two other members of my club have the same plane with a stock set up and they both got 73-75 amps with 1100 watts. So thinking it’s the C rating on the batteries.

I’ll be doing a video on the plane soon on my YouTube channel, RC Aldrin. So check that out I’ll put a link below. There’s a trailer for the extra, just a short teaser so to speak.

In a rather leaked release that may surprise some and not so much others DJI, the worlds largest drone manufacturer have announced their latest product in the OSMO lineup, the OSMO Action.

The original OSMO launched in late 2015 and was DJI’s first move into ground based cameras with it being fitted with a version of the X3. Since then DJI have diversified the line with the OSMO Zoom as well as the Mobile versions for smartphones. In November 2018 DJI released the first major over hall of the line with the OSMO Pocket, this dramatically smaller version was entirely redesigned and improved in almost every way while still keeping the benefits of a stabilised gimbal camera system.

Today DJI have added an entirely new model to the OSMO line up. The OSMO Action is as much a side step as it is a step forward and takes them into the action camera market properly for the first time and in direct competition with GoPro, SJCam and Others.

Yep Les Amis,
