I set up my MJX X101 with a Owl plus RunCam,a Boscam 5.8 ghz video transmitter,a Eachine Pro Mini dvr.Fpv video feed is broadcasting to my Eachine VR007 goggle and a Floureon 7" 5 .8ghz video monitor. This makes for a prettyy fun fpv flyer, nowhere neer as fast as a race quad but make for a fun fpv flyer and good practice setup for a smaller flight area

I took out the XK X252 out for a night flight this evening, very good leds and headlights, very good for los flying in the dark. The onboard camera was no good in the dark,a great camera otherwise,it's just not built to film in the dark.I must say the XK 252 is really cool, brushless motors 5.8ghz capable and a cool los night flyer, thumbs up on this one for me

Wow Just been going through an aggravating experience with my main computer which I use for all my video editing as well as tuning my r/c quads.I have now (I hope)reset this thing and am typing on it at this moment,it appears after a major overhaul it is a nice nearly new setup.Bad news is I lost everything I had saved ....ever.Good news is fresh start on what I had been working on so all goes well here are a couple r/c machines I have been checking out.

The XK X252 which is a really cool multi functional quadcopter available here : http://www.banggood.com/XK-X252-5_8G...campaign=XK252

Also I have been testing out this fast 1/12 scale truggy ,the HBX 12882P rwd,I gotta say this is a fast little buggy and it has some nice long run times Review coming soon on this ride
check out this truggy here : http://www.banggood.com/HBX-12882P-1...ign=HBX-12882P

I hope to have some footrage of these cool r/c machines out to share later this week.

Also I have been getting in more fpv flying in and I am getting better with evry flight,at this point I am feeling the limitations off my Eachine VR007's , still decent goggles for the price but there are some great low priced options coming out and I will be picking up something new soon, just narrowing things down to a final four,I will keep you all posted
OK,so I will now restart my computer and hope all is back to normal, wish me luck

Checking out the new Floureon Racer 250 FPV quadcopter. This is a nice quadracer which has lots of potential,it is a equipped with a Naze 32 flight controller,20 amp esc's and a 1000 tvl fpv camera.

Floureon Racer 250 Test Flight Review (13 min 13 sec)

Pros:
Fast quadcopter

Reasonably Durable

Naze 32 Flight controller equipped

Has 20 amp esc\s

Very Bright Leds

Cons:

The only negative I can say about this quadcopter at the monent is that it isn't exactly ready to fly right out of the box,at least with the one I got it was necessary to do some setup on the tCleanflight software to get the Floureon Racer 250 to fly propperly, however with this grade quadcopter I think it would be something you would want to do anyway and make some adjustments so the machine will fly to your personal liking.

Hi All,

So I recently got a Floureon Racer 250 to check out, this is a familiar looking machine which bears similarities to the Eachine Racer 250.However,the Floureon version is a nice upgrade over the original. The Floureon Racer 250 is equipped with a Naze 32 flight controller,NICE!Out of the box I initially took it out without doing any setup with cleanflight, this I do not recommend, yes it flew but it really requires some basic tuning in Cleanflight to get it to work propely.I only had one flight mode enabled out of the box ,ACRO,let's just say it was a fast learning curve flying this quad in acro only mode for my first flight.
All good,I have since spent a good deal of time learning to use clean flight and the Floureon 250 has a lot of potential and is well on it's way to being the great quadracer it was meant to be
There is much more to be said about the details of the Racer 250,I have some more tweaking and tuning to do first but I plan to have detailed video footage to share over the next coming days

Check out the Floureon Racer 250 here :

Lately I have been flying a lot more fpv and trying out all my quads to see how they handle via fpv flight with my Eachine VR007 goggles,so since the H501S transmits a 5.8ghz video signal it was time to try flying it with my goggles. With GPS the 501S is not an aggresive flyer but it is a fun fpv exploring experience

Pick up a Hubsan H501S here http://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopters/pp_264426.html

I have been really loving the Walkera Rodeo 150,great little flyer So I have been wanting to get some onboard video during my fpv flights with it and thought I would give a try and see how well my RunCam would work with the Rodeo, result, not bad but not the solution for sure. The RunCam adds more weight than the Rodeo was designed for ,yes it can do it but I would recommend lighter solutions to capture video from your Rodeo flights
