Tool, meet hole. Hole, meet tool. It's not like it sounds. Note for actual horn insertion the elevator would NOT be screwed into the fuse yet, this is a demo photo only. -

And twist once in. Your clevis should now be open and ready to accept the horn. Note which side is the 'open' side of the clevis, get the tip in there, and then gently feel around until the clevis pin is in the hole in the horn, then untwist the tool. -

Once the clevis and horn are connected, screw the elevator onto the fuse. You should now have an operational elevator system.
