Well the box ain't here yet but the bench work is pretty much done.
All told using some hardware I had about I spent right at 15 bucks in nails 2x4s and such.
The framework. Quite exotic, notice the pencil in the lower right corner that levels things out.
Thats what it looks like with the building board atop. I built that building board a long time ago. Used it for stick and tissue models. That is a yard stick on there, I think it will be long enough.

Okay new entry, I posted one as a comment before 
yes I am hopeless.
Finally a little progress at least.
I ordered the 4 star today.
So far I have an OS40FP, two working servos, another servo that needs a case and gears, batteries, oh and the kit ! soon! tm.
I still need to build a workbench but can cobble something together. I will star with the build log when the box arrives !
Since I posted that I have finished the benchwork almost. Just 2x4 saw horses with some lumber between them. I will post pictures before I start the build.
