Just starting a project and thought i'd write out some notes.

The goal is to figure out how to get a plane like the Eachine GA202 manufactured.
The electronics on these little planes are perfect and I would like to learn how the receiver boards work and try and make my own versions.
I'm decent with cad modeling and plan to design my own airframes as well.

I've looked into prototyping these frames but haven't found much information on what is it polystyrene expansion? you get a mold and pour tiny foam beads in it then shoot steam in there and they expand and stick together. But no videos, no diy, not much i can find.
Also saw a guy that vacuum formed like one mm thick foam in a mold for an ultralight but that would be too fragile.
