Got out this weekend for my first 2021 flights. Nice day. It was 6:00 PM and there were some great late day thermals. Put up a 25 minute flight without even trying. Had to be at least 2,000+ feet. Plane just wanted to keep going up & up. I hope the rest of the summer is as fun.

Well I just bought an almost new Yuri X Plus Hotliner. I feel the need for speed, or something like that. I've ordered a new turbo spinner and larger motor mount for the X. I'm also going to double the battery size and see if I can get some serious power into it. Time will tell how this is going to work out.

I have some really experienced guys who are helping guide me through this process. I don't think I could figure this stuff out without their help.

Will post again soon.

I have been working on the ASPIRE Disser and the C68 Pike for the Polecat ALES Contest in mid-June. Here it is, the end of April, and I've only had 2 or 3 good outings with each plane to try and fine tune them. This Spring the weather has been so rough I haven't gotten much time in at the field. Both planes need major fine-tuning because of all the work done to them this past winter. Let's hope the weather holds and I can get things worked out.

Well it's March 1st and I'm still looking out the window at snow. Not much flying, but sure have enough time for building. I've gotten almost all of my planes ready for a good Spring Fling and have even done some work on a friend's plane to keep me occupied.

Back in late December I ordered a Hacker motor for my final winter build. As of now, I still don't have the motor so the build has stalled-out. The motor is something no-one has seen or asked for here in the USA before and it's my second one coming straight from Germany. Time will tell if ordering and waiting this long is worth it.

Come On Warm Weather...
